v3m im problem
Hi Guys, Im new here and im having a problem with my phone.My phone is a v3m prepaid,I just updated the im to version 3.0 and it hasn't worked since. When i try to log in it just says not available to prepay subscribers.I called tech support and they said the phone needed to be flashed,can someone tell me how you can flash the phone so you can use the old im version? or is there a flash so the new 3.0 version will work on this phone? My software for this phone is NEWC_01.09.02 thank you for any help and info you can provide.

If you like the VZW UI (interface) and want to stay with it to use this new program you got from charge me now and forever, I mean Get it now, you could just use Motorola Software Updater (MSU). I THINK that would be one of the safest ways to upgrade 'flash' your phone.
But, myself, I would keep what f/w you have and forget the new IM and look into other otpions.

The latest version of mobile im does not support prepay. Only the older version of it.
That was told to me by tech support at verizon
They do have plans in the future for that version of mobile im to work with prepay but for now you are stuck
