Sprint/Nextel ic502

Hey was up guys first of all I am new and thanks for having me here, I have the Sprint/Nextel ic502 phone and i wanted to use it with a t-mobile sim card well first off all can it b done and if so with what app/s and how I would appreciate anything that u can help me out with thanks.

Well hate to break the bad news but your idea is not possible. Reason being is T-Mobile is a GSM carrier, and the phone you have ( ie ic502) is for Nextels network only because all Nextel phones only work on the iDen network and can not be used on any other network in the US being Nextel is the only one that has iDen. FYI that phone would not even work on Sprints network because there network ( ie not Nextels) is a CDMA network like VZW, USCC, and Alltel.

Yeah, even though Sprint and Nextel are the same company now, there is still a big difference in their technologies. Kinda like two sides of the same coin. Sprint = CDMA, Nextel - iDEN.

well there is "southern linc" it's an iden carrier, but you have to be in the south to know anything about them....
