Seem edit for "Memory is Low" in Inbox?
I have a verizon v3m flashed to alltel, and now when I have about 50 messages in my inbox it says that memory is low, but on the verizon interface I could have well over 100 stored in there. I heard there is a seem edit to fix this problem, does anybody know it?

Posted: Sat, 03/03/2007 - 18:48 by polycat33We can disregard the label for that bit, right? Saying that it'll store the texts to the SIM card? Does it mean that it's storing texts to the tf card, or just allowing more text storage in the same memory location as before?

Posted: Sat, 03/03/2007 - 19:02 by pyde_pypperit more or less just allows you to save more msgs, keeps them in the same place and uses the phone memory just doesn't have the lower limit on how many can be saved.

Posted: Sat, 03/17/2007 - 17:33 by bryanI was reading an old post of pyde_peppers and he said that, along with the offest 40/bit 6 seem edit, you also have to turn on offset 45 bit 7. I just did that and I'll find out if it worked soon.

I'd like to read what he said in more detail, I remember seeing that forever ago and thinking that I didn't want to do it for some odd reason... let us know if that helps... even if I did it now I wouldn't know for a month or so, I just deleted all my texts and won't be texting again until the next billing cycle cause I used up my 250...

Unfortunately when I went in to my phone to do both seems (I only did the first one before) the second one was already set the way its supposed to be. Which means that this still probably won't work for me, but I redid it again anyway just for kicks to see if it works. Although I won't find out for about a month.
