P2K Commander and the Razr Ve20
I cannot get P2K Cmdr to work with my Razr Ve20. I have tried running MSU and P2k and Moto PST and P2K. P2K will find the phone with MSU but when I try to call up the Root Directory of the phone it hangs. I've tried numerous different USB drivers Both from here and Motorola as well as other sources. I believe the latest version of USB Drivers I have is 3.9xx. The annoying problem I have is every time I connect the phone I get and error from device manager that the following device cannot be installed "Motorola USB Diagnostic Port" information not found in the INF file.
I'm running XP SP3.
check your settings in p2k...i think they should be on...
Posted: Fri, 08/07/2009 - 21:27 by listenman20check your settings in p2k...i think they should be on p2k05 commands for that phone....you may have to change the setting then close the app and re-open it to get the settings change to stick.
Currently using the Motorola Droid.

There is something corrupted in your Windows registry which is why it is not installing properly. the only fix I've ever had to correct it i was doing a full reinstall of XP and then the devices will install correctly. until you get that error fixed your phone is not going to work with your comp the right way.

Or does the registry error include this as well?

Posted: Sun, 08/09/2009 - 09:54 by Hugh_JorganI put back all of the Modem ".inf" files I took off. That took care of the Diagnostic Port error, but P2k still hangs. I get no error's, just "Not Responding". MPT works fine, P2kSeem say's the phone is connected but I cannot view any seems. It will just hang. Bitpim will find the device, but then hang as well.

This is driving me nuts! BTW, What is "BT" And how can I check to see if it is fully unlocked?
BT=bluetooth you would just need to try and transfer things...
