A newbie needs a walk through please !!!
Ok I know this forum is mainly for Razr phones and I have one and love it.. I would first Like to thank everyone for all the info they have posted on this site. But now I need spme help with another phone. I have an LG Voyager that I brought over to the sprint network. I did it and only the voice calls and text work on it. I want to get the picture mail to work on this phone. I pay for the unlimited service so I would love to get this phone to do that. Does anyone know how to do that? I heard I may have to use some WAP settings maybe? I am a bit confused and would hope someone out there can help me. Thanks for your time.

Posted: Sat, 02/07/2009 - 17:49 by teddyearpYeah, this site is mostly geared to razr/moto phones, HOWEVER, I've also read that Sprint uses some very specialized coding in their network for most all things DATA (i.e. anything that's more than calls/txt) I don't know much at all about LG phones, nor Sprint's service, but I am curious, you say you brought your LG phone "over" to sprint's network. Does that mean that was on a different carrier?

It was a hard task but I did it. But if I could set it up to do picture mail that would be great. Let me know if anyone has ideas.

So unless you could get a Sprint firmware for a Voyager I don't see you ever getting data services to work on the Voyager on Sprint network. The only carrier it will all work on it VZW being they are the only ones selling the phone if I'm not mistaken.
