Hack the Razr - Official Permanent Proxy Setup
Here we go. The free, fast, stable, secure, etc ¦ Phone proxy server is set up!
If you have already had the test Hack the Razr proxy setup, you shouldn't need to do anything different. Just make sure the Hack the Razr web session is set as default and open up your browser.
For anyone that hasn't set it up the free wap yet, or hasn't set up the official proxy yet here you go:
If this is your first time with free wap go to the free wap guide first and do that: http://hacktherazr.com/guides/verizon/features/free-wap then you should know enough to be able to change the setup to this.
- User ID: Your forum name goes here (please note that this is cAsE sensitive and that "/" and "\" are stripped out so if your forum name has them just skip them when entering your name here.)
Password: Forum password here (again cAsE sensitive but no characters are removed.
Gateway IP 1: Should be blank aka all 0's so 0.0.0.0
Gateway 1: wap.hacktherazr.com
Port 1: 9201
Cache Start-Up: Off (Retrieve)
That should be it. Post back here if something isn't working right.

Posted: Mon, 01/22/2007 - 22:12 by FraggerGlad to hear you got it working. But I'm still having intermittent problems with the proxy. What looked like it was fixed and it really wasn't for some reason its making child processes and not stopping them. I'll keep you guys up to date.

It tries connecting for what seems like 2 solid minutes then I get the error message. Just to test things on my end I switched back to the google proxy and it connects instantly.

Posted: Mon, 01/22/2007 - 23:39 by FraggerYea, I've had it on and off but the main problem is the child processes for some reason once someone closes there browser they should kill them selfs. But noooo, so once there gets to be too many hp probably sits for a while then finely goes too many processes and spits a header at you that returns that, or something along though lines. Idk why we are having the probs now but, I'll try to get it solved.
