Free WAP for Sprint
OK im PRETTY SURE i figured this out! wo0o.
- Start with the ##DATA# (##3282#)
Select Browser (second option)
Go to edit and enter your MSL
(Don't know your MSL? http://hacktherazr.com/node/1395
Select Gateway 1 (second option)
Then, select G1 Primary IP (first option) and enter "064.233.167.099".
Keep all the ports at default (80)
Go back to the primary menu (Power Vision) and go to SIP (fourth option)
Edit, and go to Data Gateway Primary (third option)
Enter "google.com"
Exit the ##DATA# and the phone will reset.
"WHAM, BAM, THANK YOU MA'AM" free WAP.

Posted: Sun, 02/04/2007 - 14:28 by crazyamericanJust an idea, but one month i received a data transfer bill for my phone, no biggie but was still trying to get the free wap so i called an asked customer service if there was anyting they could do to make those charges not occur. She simply stated that she can block access to the spint internet thing and then there no way ill get charged again becuase i "cant connect to the sprint netwrok". I am preet y sure this will work then and you can use google proxy and be online but not being through the sprint network!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
does this make any sense?

The only thing that makes me not a 100% beliver that this will work is that since you have had sprint block the data usage on their network, does not mean that if you use the google proxy 80 that it will still not show up on your bill. In other words, you are still using port 80 so it may be iffy. Please post if you are able to do this and not be charged.
*Remember that it takes about 2 hrs. for the data usage to show up on sprint computers, so you can check to see if you are being charged instead of waiting until a big bill comes at the end of the month.

Posted: Thu, 02/08/2007 - 14:13 by bobby2732000I had the internet blocked on my phone a week or two ago, and I couldn't access it, I used this WAP method and am now able to connect. I'm assuming they can't charge you since you had it blocked, and if they were to you could easily say it is blocked, and charges need to be erased etc..

8) and i also checked if i was being charged for my google proxy WAP and i WASN'T!!!!!!! NO DATA TRANSFER CHARGES I didnt even see minute usage but im sure thats on ther but thats no big deal at all since i have 1000 minutes with free nights and weekends
