also, we plan to make it so that everyone with a forum login will be able to use that login as their own personal wap proxy account, which will truly protect your data and logins (as opposed to the general wap / wap user setup right now). then on top of that we plan to make it so that that same memberships works with the new joomla site coming to theatres soon.

Posted: Tue, 01/23/2007 - 17:57 by ZagarWell, I am still getting the 601 error now - not the 401. I will post all of my settings and see if I'm just being stupid (I know that's loaded). The only thing I noticed is that I can't capitalize the first letter of my login. There don't seem to be any provisions for a "Z".... Could that be my problem??? (Again, loaded, I know!! :shock: )

Its just we needed an address to setup the server with so that was chosen, then we set up the wap one later. As for capital try pushing up when you are on that letter, it should capitalize (also down will do lower case).

I've been lurking on this forum for several weeks and really appreciate all the good info.
I'm trying to setup and use the WAP proxy you've kindly provided. I've double checked all my settings, but I'm still getting a "dial *611" message from verizon everytime I try to connect. Any suggestions?

I've tried both wap.hacktherazr.com and hackltherazr.net and teh google proxy, and each time it says "Authentication Failed" I was so excited that I'd have an extended browser menu with alltel...and then I cant get it to work XD
