also, we plan to make it so that everyone with a forum login will be able to use that login as their own personal wap proxy account, which will truly protect your data and logins (as opposed to the general wap / wap user setup right now). then on top of that we plan to make it so that that same memberships works with the new joomla site coming to theatres soon.

I followed the instructions for the free WAP access under the guide using google. It works however as others pointed out you can't get other sites outside of google like mail, my yahoo etc.
I tried your new information for the WAP server above and the first time it came up with a bad httpd config error. The second time I tried it came up with dial *611 for wireless services. I tried powering the phone on and off and also tried reseting the web browser.
Wondering what I am doing wrong or is verizon on to everyone?

if you have PST you may want to try load your browser file and try and edit it that way to make sure everythings all gravy

What gives ????? am I doing somthing wrong????

Tried both cdma browser file and cdma motorola cdma browser file.
Error messag was Current PST dosen't support this feature for connected phone.
Using PST 7.2.3_GENERAL V2005.9.1.0
It be nice to edit the browser settings with pst rather than going through all those menus on the phone.
Can do everything else with pst and p2kcommander (seem edits, file transfers).

Accsessories Interface 2.9.0.0
Data logging MCU interface 2.9.0.0
Test command interface 2.9.0.0

Posted: Sun, 12/17/2006 - 10:43 by vzw_razrYou're looking for a RTT Browser file. Make a new one, then switch to Version 6.x, then read from phone. Double check that you typed everything in right, I just somehow typed "wgp" as the password.

I did not change anything but was given in the original post:
gateway: hacktherazr.com (no ip is needed)
user: wap
pass: wap
port: 9201
Everything else is set to default.
I'll give it another shot.
