Not saying there isn't something worth while but seeing as we really don't know what is up with it, why cause yourself more issues if you really don't need to. Heck I was on the Alltel .03 flash for ages and never had an issue. Only reason I ever went to .04 on Alltel is because I ended up having to get a replacement v3c at the time so when I did it to the new v3c I just used the .04 Alltel file. I suppose if I ever did decide to fix my data services I'd just use the .06 Alltel one. Not going to mess around with the USCC one seeing as I know all the detail on the Alltel flashing process.

each time i had to reactivate over the phone.....the operator says why you need to activate AGAIN...i gave some bullsheet story and he went thru the manual steps.
here they are if anyone needs them.
press these keys VERY FAST...74663# clr clr (clear button twice).
takes you to NAM1 screen.
click that open.
in MIN box...type your cell #
imsl is default.
mdn..retype your cell #.
highlite CDMA...and just click OK (its part of the activation deal).
now click DONE.
now if i only knew the steps to activate alltels system?

i assume because im not an alltel client it failed.

Posted: Tue, 02/27/2007 - 06:08 by pyde_pypperit's because if you just flashed you need to write the VZW PRL and ERI file back to the phone from your backups before you dial *228. You can't just flash and then dial *228 doesn't work that easy.

Alltel - USCC - Vivo flashes - Best/easiest one?

I have a v3c refurb that has the newest GATW_01.18.07
I want to flash the phone?
Which of the flashes(alltel, uscc, vivo) has the least steps(and/or is easier)?
I keep reading that Vivo is the best one. Best mp3 player etc.
Is there a link to the steps and difference of features for each flash?
I am not looking for someone to write a book. Maybe just a few links with some of the answer?
