Flashing to Telus
I have a v3m phone I bought and it came with Vivo (I'm in Latin America).
I don't have use for a memory card so I want to flash to Telus, so I can have Java. I don't use BREW.
I have a couple questions and need assistance...
1. Could I please be pointed to the proper direction in which to go? Like, what to read up and how to do it? From what I read there isn't any guide... But what would I need?
2. I can use data services and DUN, right? I want to keep DUN, data services and calls (obviously, lol...). So, are those things possible?
3. Is it hard?

and if those don't answer your question you might have a talk with pyde_pypper. he's kinda the resident expert on flashing to telus, since he's done it on atleast 2 of his phones and bought the 3rd with telus on it already...hehe...maybe he'll have time...i know he's working hard on the flash for the v9m to telus. data should still work if done correctly, and nothing is simple til you've done it a few times. then you wonder why you ever thot it would be hard.

The other concern I'd have in your case is the fact you are in Latin America and I don't know how they have there networks setup. That said even if you go ahead with it there may be issues because of the network setting. Calls and txt msgs should be no biggie, the issue will be Data service and getting Java running.
Also do not use the second link posted for the newer firmware leaked. There are issue with that flash when it comes to data stuff. you are much better off dealing with the 6.04 release and not the 6.08 one.
As for reference material you can look over the first link listenman20 posted, and also this guide link I post. FYI it is a guide for flashing a k1m Krazr but a lot of the info is still relative to the Razr. The major difference comes when you get to Java stuff which is why you need to reference back to the Hofo link posted.
One last thing what you want to do should not be a problem but as I said I can't say for sure because you are on a totally different network then the setups we have here in the states.
