Flashed Vivo razr v3 authentication problem
I have flashed my razr to vivo and now i can not make calls. Whenever I make calls i get a "verizon unable to authenticate" message/error. I went to the setup menu, and under user activation it had 0000000000 for my phone number. So i changed it to my phone number. I did a couple *228's and did both option 1 and 2 countless times, and still i get an authentication error cry
help? any at all? This same thing happens when i flash to alltell too.
If it helps i can't get my phone to work with my computer (pst, etc doesn't work) but it does work when i have alltel flashed onto my phone. Any help? Please? I've been reading thread after thread and can't figure out what to do. I don't think my ESN is @#$%^ up. My phone was activated and working before i flashed. I really don't want to flash back to vzw firmware. HELP?!?!

I assume you did the airplane mode trick if not the ESN Swap. I didn't try that so I'm not much help :!: but I would go through the guide again and reread everything on by one checking them off as you do them. I know that will be hard for ya due to the fact that your all flustered. But take a deep breath have a smoke , drink a coffe, have a beer. what ever makes you relax. and just take your time.

Edit: after everything else fails Call Customer service and tell them your data is broken or that you cant access Get It Now or something to that extent

Posted: Sat, 11/10/2007 - 14:28 by boogerme0SWEET IT WORKS!! D i called tech support and after a (relatively) short 30 minute call i got her to reset the data services, etc.
One thing though, I still can not do anything w/phone and computer because pst does not work, thus i can not do seem edits, and thus i can't put music or anything on my phone!
Help?

Posted: Sat, 11/10/2007 - 15:16 by freezeboxDude that could be as simple as you data cable is bad. yea I know it seems imposible because you just flashed but its one posiblity. also make sure the cable is in the same usb port on you comp from when you loaded the moto drivers. also could be that you need to reload drivers i've done that a few times my self. Posted: Sat, 11/10/2007 - 17:01 by boogerme0i was able to transfer stuff when i had verizon firmware with this same data cable so i don't know why it wouldn't work now. it's the same port too. Any other ideas? the whole reason i flashed to vivo was because of it's mp3 player. so not being able to have music etc. kinda sucks

btw, just kinda wondering, can you use the razr as a flash drive when it is on the "usb drive" mode?
