find unlock code w/o seem edit!
ok while i was playing around with my phone i figured out how to find your unlock code (among other things) without plugging into your computer. all you need is your security code 000000. ok so go to 0#SETUP* and then go to NAM 1. scroll down and it will display your MDN and MIN as well as your unlock code and your security code, however the security code is rather useless considering you had to have known it to get into the setup menu.

Posted: Wed, 07/25/2007 - 11:22 by pyde_pypperFYI just so everyone knows this is not the same on a Alltel flash tho. I just went in and check on my v3c and it does not display the security code info. It only has the MDN,MIN, and IMSI_11_12 info displayed and nothing else. Not sure if ti is different on a v3m tho so someone may want to check there Alltel flash v3m and report back.
Edit; It dawned on me and I checked it again on Alltel and it does display the info as stated above but you need to go to NAM1 info under Extended Nam and then to NAM1. The first time I looked I went to NAM1 in User Activation, just figured I clarify my findings.
Currently using the New Moto Krave ZN4

Posted: Wed, 07/25/2007 - 14:20 by thermoI went to Extended NAM > NAM1 and it showed my security code (useless find of course cause you can't access it without knowing it) and the lock code (more useful). Cool, now I know how to find people's unlock codes...

BitPim Lock Codes

They are all in the nvm/ seem/ syn_feature file.
Just open BitPim and navigate to that file, right click and select hexdump and you will find them at the lines shown in each pic.
This works for any Moto that the nvm directory is not locked.

Mine is locked down to verizon V3m, and before I go crazy I really would like to get into this darn thing! I understand the long methods with the computer, but this would sure save a lot of time in downloads and such, please please inform as we would hopefully like to use this phone but wiht verizon---no thank you.... :?
