I have been reading the forums for like 4 hours now and tried everything possible but no luck. Any one have any ideas?

what address are you using?

if the free wap server status box in the bottom right of every page says that the server is offline, then that is likely when you receive that error. just try again later and/or refer to the server status, as it should automatically restart itself.
thanks

post the specific setting
Posted: Thu, 09/11/2008 - 16:47 by pyde_pypperpost the specific setting you have entered in the websession on your phone, excluding the password obviously. I just tested it and it is working fine on my Telus v9m

If that doens't work either then the issue is with your data services in general that would need to be fixed threw your carrier first.

If that is the case then I'd

perhaps try changing service
Posted: Fri, 09/12/2008 - 11:24 by styolperhaps try changing service type to wap instead of http.
also, its possible that your password is to complicated maybe? in the past we've had issue with people being able to connect because of their password, however, i just realized you're not able to resolve the hostname..
perhaps try the IP: 174.133.125.18

Posted: Fri, 09/12/2008 - 13:05 by spikejonesthis *should* work with the IP part.... UNTIL when and if the server gets relocated again, at which time the IP address will no longer be valid, so keep that in mind. If the server ever does get relocated you will have to enter in the NEW IP address. You can find this out by using the "show ip" add-on for mozilla firefox and visiting this site.
as per username/password issues, are you sure that it is proper capitalization? for instance if your username/password begins with a lowercase letter, you will have to enter a chacter first (any) then the next letter will become lowercase. The second letter should begin your username/password. Then go back and clear the first uppercase letter.
