Can I do this?
I recently bought a Motorola Razr Ve20 from an eBay seller. It's a brand new, never activated ALLTEL Ve20. I have an Alltel Ve20 already activated on Verizon, it was grandfathered when Verizon bought out Alltel here in Michigan. Here's my problem, I want to activate this phone on Verizon's network, but because (according to Verizon) its never been activated there's nothing they can do. What I would like to do is see if there's a way I can change the MEID number to one that Verizon likes. I have another moto a W755 that went through the washing machine. and I have a line activated on that MEID. So is there some software or Hack I can use to change the MEID on the Razr to the one on the W755?

However there is no reason VZW can not activate it. i'm guessing they are telling you the MEID is not in there database which is why it won't activate. Taht said there is ways to get the MEID added so it can be used. you need to all in and talk with a Tier 3 tech support agent they can get them done. Also on VZW's site there is a link that lets you check the MEID #'s to see if it is good. I' would check that on there site before calling in. REason being is you can save or print the info fmro there site showing they device can be activated on there network. Believe me it can be done I've had many many MEIDs added for devices so i could use them as I use to beta test for a MFG and had devices in my hands that were not even public and I got them activated.
