Bluetooth pairing
First if this info is on here somewhere I apologize, I have searched and can't find it if it is. I'm trying to pair my V3M to my new Chevy. I get all the way to where it finds General Motors when I search for handsfree, but it never asks to bond, or gets to a screen to input a PIN? The GM site says this Verizon phone is compatible? I'm not sure if I'm missing a step, need a hack, or screwed something up in a previous hack. I'm on S/W NEWC_01.09.02

You say the the GM site says your phone is compatable, right? However, as far as I know, the Verizon firmware pretty much has most Bluetooth functions locked down. I believe (not sure) that the seem edit that allows USB 'might' allow BT as well. But for sure, with the f/w on your phone, the only BT you will be able to do is with a regular BT headset. If you can set your vehicle to act like a regular BT headset, then you should be ok.
Otherwise, with your current f/w on your phone, you could always flash it to the Vivo f/w (hard, but not too bad if you are good at following instructions) which would then unlock much more BT possibilities.
good luck

One thing to remember is the v3m had two main f/w. The launch and then something down the middle (again I'm HORRIBLE with vzw f/w numbers). The launch f/w had pretty much all BT functions locked. The newer and latest ones on the other hand did not. Like for example:
- Mass BT contact sending
- Sending photos/video over BT
and some other things.
It most likely is possible if your f/w is a launch f/w that is not compatible with the car but the new one is.
