Bluetooth LED won't shut off--killing my battery

I dropped my RAZR at the lake and soaked it. I managed to combine parts from two phones into one that works except the exterior bluetooth LED will not shut off and is draining my battery. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hmm... Im surprised you got it working. Honestly, stuff like this is pretty difficult (at least for me) to get working even as good as you did. Theres a reason carriers do not cover water damage.

how long was it underwater?

what if any cleaning methods did you use before re-assembling the phone? Sometimes remains of grime can alter or short connections. Usually the damage is permanent....id buy a new one, or if gut it with a new board/esn, etc. Depends what you got on hand really.

Razr in the lake

Was hoping that some of the lighting programs would allow me to shut off that LED. The next step is to disassemble the display and take out the LED. Have to wait til Oct for a new phone through provider. May check eBay.

Thanks for the reply
