Bluetooth dialing with Headset

This is my first post... so ask away if i forget some information.

I have a RAZR V3 running the following versions
Bootloader 07.E0
SW Version: Re74_G_0E.40.5.7R

I have a HP IPAQ 2495 running WM5.0 and a Plantronics 320 Bluetooth Headset

I am trying to use my Ipaq to "dial a number via bluetooth" while having my headset connected to the phone. Now i have read elsewhere that the RAZR maintains a connection on bluetooth constantly with any device that is connected to it. So in other words its either headset or dial from PDA.

Is there a way to get my phone to accept the dial while connected to the Headset or is this a "not going to happen no matter what" thing?
