It's not working...all I'm getting is a "404 Not Found" error.
What's the issue? And how can it be solved?

"What the issue?", the link is obviously dead. Simple solution www.google.com or yahoo.com for it
FYI BitPim is a freebie software that is simple to find on the web takes a matter of 10 seconds. Anywhoo here is a link directly to there site to save you the hassle of having to search for it.

Anyhow, heres a nifty little trick for all you firefox users out there:
1. type about:config into the address bar and press enter
2. search for the keyword.url preference
3. right click it, select modify, and enter the address:
and then click ok.
4. google is now set as your default search engine in firefox. You can now search from the address bar through google and sometimes when you search for a product name it will take you right to that page. Such is the case with bitpim, entering p2kcommander will take you to a softpedia page where you can currently download version 4.9.E.
Point being.... Google is your friend!
BTW, feel free to remove the links if you think they are inappropriate.

To further add I guessing most of us have lives and real day jobs, unlike a lot of our fellow members who are not even adults yet. This is a hobby for us and I personally refuse to spend every waking hour working on things so others can be spoon feed, I'm not here to be someones parent and do everything for them, just ain't gonna happen. Hell I don't do it for my own son and I sure as heck won't do it on the web. People need to step up to the plate from time to time and do things for themselves, and who knows maybe something gets done that can be posted and helps others out, like the link I posted to go directly to BitPim's site.

It could be exploited to change it and redirect to any search engine you want to really..

should work, but it will show no results if you are not a user/don't have it set to automatically log you in each time you visit.

I try to help out here, although I probably only have about half the knowledge as the senior members when it comes to most of this phone stuff. But in some of my posts, I have had to say many times, "Google can be your friend". I mean, how did they get here in the first place? A 'search engine'. I'm with pyde about the spoon feeding thing as well, sort of. It brings to mind a post I just answered about a guy who looked at (or through) Mark's site for a flash file and this poster said it was a "very large file". I guess that'll be the new name for a monster flash file.
sure this site is the top hit when you search for razr hacking or such, but, man, there is so much more out there that needs to be read. And if one site doesn't quite have the link/file you need, well search, search again. Hell, Google's been indexing my 'hidden' directory that I have posted here.
