I am trying to get some ringtones on my phone I have downloaded the driver to charge the phone and it works great but when I get the P2K thing I can't get it to work any help would be appreciated.

Then plug the phone back in once you hear the USB chime for the driver being loaded fire up MSU with no other programs running. Then leave it sit and MSU should install 3 other drivers to switch the device mode. Once you see your MEID or ESN displayed on the left hand side of the screen you know it is good to go. Leave it running and just down size it to you toolbar and then firer up p2kcommander

When I try to open the MSU I get a page that opens in Notebook that has a bunch of stuff I don't understand I am confused don't know what to do now...

I have never heard about Motorola Software Updater (MSU) opening a page in Notebook, like you mention. What version of Windows are you using? Also, I always just recommend that ppl use RSD CDMA General instead, guide:

The only thing I would point out is that some anti-virus (AVG Free) programs may have issues with the version of RSD CDMA in the guide, just go ahead and click the 'clean' and you should be golden with using that fine software.
