accessing my old account
Not really a complaint, but I didn't know where else to post. I have been struggling to access my old account and can't or don't receive the new password via email. My registered email either blocks it as spam or is not valid. I don't remember my password although I could have guessed it, but it has been reset now, so there is no hope I'm afraid. How can I access this account again?
Also out of desperation I made a new account after being locked out and registered it to a different email address but have managed to forget my user name, cause its been at least 6 months since I last visited this site. Yeah I'm an idiot. So when I tried to make this 3rd account it told me that the email address was already in use. So I had to use my girl friend's email to make this login. I just want one account really, and I don't want it to be registered to my gf's email.
Any help is appreciated.

Posted: Wed, 05/14/2008 - 14:39 by spikejoneslive and learn, and then make a password that is easy for you to remember. personally, I use the same password for everything since I am the only one who uses this PC. the only exception is bank accounts, they are different. for the purposes of websites like this, there really is no reason to have a password like kjanhgf;aklsjdfl;k. anyhows, if styol doesn't see this thread, send him a PM about the issue. Technically, he is able to sort out the database on his end to delete the other profiles' records and manually switch the email address associated with it to whatever one you want. IF he is willing to take the time to do that kind of stuff. However, he is a busy man and might just tell you that you are stuck. By the way, email address are free for the taking at yahoo and gmail. Why did you not take a few seconds to create a new email address there with which to register on this site?
AS per the possibility of the password reset email being marked as spam, check the spam folder at your email providers online email site. They usually sit in there for a while. If it is in there, make sure to unmark the sender as a spammer.

I just need to know what the user ID was/is you want to use, and what e-mail you wanted linked to it. I can then delete the other ID you are currently using if you want so you aren't doubled up with 2 accounts.
I will then change the password to something simple and forward that info back to you so you are able to login again. that way you can go in and change the password again to whatever you wish.
