12/4/07 WAP issue
Folks,
As a heads up we know there is an issue with the HTR proxy. The site had an issue within the past few days. If anyone noticed yesterday the entire site was down for a while to get it back working correctly again. I have forwarded the word about the proxy but have yet to get a reply. Once I get any feedback I will let everyone know so plz give them some time. Posting and asking the same thing all over the place is not going to get it done any faster which is why I made this post to let everyone know what the deal is. Thx
Oh yea and I meant to mean when you see you account has been suspend that has NOTHING to do with your VZW account. It is relative to the proxy server itself so plz relax you have not got caught or in trouble as far as I'm aware.

Posted: Sun, 12/09/2007 - 00:59 by styolour server had been compromised again or by the same person and they were apparently running an IRC server off our server (nice) and my system admin noticed it and killed it, and upon that happening it was either automatic or the hacker got pissed and started attacking the server
we've lost some of the configurations of the server such as the httpd.conf which essentially tells the server what domains and subdomains are setup and where they point to, like wap.hacktherazr.com
due to the issue we have suspend shell access, which has prevented me from restarting the sleu of wap proxy related servers... but i will make sure that this gets taken care of and i will try to have the wap proxy back up, asap

Do we know if its safe to use wap on evdo after Nov 1 yet?

I have gotten a bill since then, and no data usage is shown, or billed, just everything like normal, even tho I use it on EVDO and I use it often.

Now using DUN that is a different story. You better make sure it's off when using it ( ie DUN).
