firstime unlocking my razr (GSM phone)

i have a locked rogers razr v3 and i am kinda of lost on what to do but i would like to unlock my phone but dont know where to start any help would be appreciated

Unfortunately, "unlocking" a phone refers to phones/carriers using GSM technology which from my quick look is what Rogers runs. Most, if not all, of the info at this site is geared towards phones/carriers that use CDMA technology. Therefore anyone using a GSM phone will NOT be able to use a lot of the info here.

However, you can probably find a bunch of usefull information over at HoFo (google it) which is actually HowardsForums.com.
