Verizon V3M flashed to Metro PCS
I need help/advice with a Verizon V3M Razor. I am looking to flash it to metro. Of course they say you will not get pic text or web. I see there are ways to flash them yourself. 1- Should this be done before you activate it with Metro or once you get it set up will it work if you re-program the phone with the proper information. Hacked V3M Razr
Posted: Sat, 03/13/2010 - 17:32 by gtogirl1969I flashed my Verizon V3M myself with PST's MultiFlashFlex (which can be found in the folder that contains the PST, mine was C:Program Files/Motorola/PST) and the monster file you specified in your post. It worked perfectly and now I can use the Internet and picture/MMS messaging capabilities the phone came with. However, once you've done the flash, you will have to contact Metro PCS tech support to get instructions on reprogramming your phone (assuming you already have a MetroPCS account, if not you take it to a Metro store to get it activated). They will have you hit 74663# and then the CLR button twice to get into the programming menu. Hope this helps!
