Thank you guys so much for an awesome site! I've been using it for a year now but for some reason am just now joining. 
Ah well, better late than never right? I have a lot of fun doing the little things with my phone, like changing startup and shutdown, bar color, lcd screen, creating and adding my own ringtones and downloading and saving my pics and contacts via all the great free software you link to. I just recently reskinned mine and my hubbies phones and it's a lot of fun. I'd like to learn how to create the skins like some of you brainiacs do but doubt i'll get the time to. Kids are damn hard on your free time to learn to hack your phone!!

So depending on your proficiency with that, it may be a snap for you. There's some other people on this forums who are parents as well, so I bet that they can identify with that aspect of things.
I am glad to hear that you are enjoying this site so much.
Keep comin' back and we would love to have you contribute to the site what things you may have created along the way.
