V3m/verizon/NEWC_01.05.0A: my 2 and up button have quit working, i switched my front(half) of the phone with one from a V3c/verizon/ H/W Rev 0, still the 2 and up button do not work with the different key pad on that front. Any ideas?

I have a Gray V3m H/W 0: the top sticker is [MOT78503 10/20/2008]
It had a new program that i really liked but i am a newb and dont have the knowledge to figure out what the programing was.
(the phone is now a paper wight of sorts i accidentally destroyed it but i am amusing the programing and memory are possibly still attainable threw the usb connection)

My current phone is a V3m H/W 0: top sticker says
Model:V3m Data Code xxxx
S/W: NEWC_01.05.0A

Any ideas if i can flash this one up to the newer program that was on my previous phone?
